What is Terra Sayan?

Terra Sayan is a boutique villa retreat in the ricefields of Ubud,
rooted in the rhythm of traditional Balinese life. With just six private
villas, an on-site comfort-food kitchen (Ferméto), and an edible
garden (Teba), we offer a quiet, land-based stay shaped by ritual,
rest, and seasonality.

Where is it located?

We’re located in Sayan, Ubud—about 15 minutes from Ubud center
and surrounded by active rice paddies.

How do I arrive by car?

Terra Sayan is nestled in the middle of active ricefields and subak
paths, where cars can’t pass through. Guests arriving by car can
park at the central parking area near Mek Juwel, where our buggy
will pick you up and bring you to the property. Directions will be
shared upon confirmation.

How many rooms are there at Terra Sayan?

We offer just six Uma Villas, each with a private plunge pool and
ricefield view.

Is breakfast included with the stay?

Yes, a seasonal à la carte breakfast at Ferméto is included with
every stay.

Is there air conditioning in the villas?

Yes, each Umaa Villa includes discreetly integrated air conditioning
for your comfort.

Do you provide in-villa spa services?

Yes. Herbal treatments inspired by Balinese home rituals are
available by request.

Can children stay at Terra Sayan?

Adults-Only, To ensure a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, our resort is exclusively for guests aged 12 and above. Perfect for honeymooners, couples and solo travelers seeking a serene escape.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is provided throughout the villa and
shared areas.

Is Ferméto open to outside guests?

Yes, Ferméto is open to the public by reservation. Walk-ins are
welcome when available.

What type of cuisine do you serve?

Our menu focuses on slow-cooked comfort food, rooted in
traditional techniques and seasonal ingredients—many sourced
from our own garden.

Is there a vegetarian or vegan option?

Yes. Our menu always includes thoughtful plant-based options,
many featuring herbs and produce from Teba.

Can I book Ferméto for a private dinner or gathering?

Yes, we offer limited private dining by request. Please contact our
team in advance.

What is the Teba?

Teba is our in-house garden and composting space, inspired by
traditional Balinese backyard farms.

Can guests visit the garden?

Absolutely. We offer daily Teba visits and seasonal herb-picking
experiences led by our gardener.

Is the produce really used in the restaurant?

Yes. Ferméto’s menu is designed around what’s growing in Teba—
from leaf to ladle.

Can I participate in the composting process?

Guests are welcome to learn about our organic waste system, and
how scraps from the kitchen return to the soil.
